Adam and Ruthy Rodgers
Pastor Adam Rodgers is a native of Columbus, GA who loves the Lord and loves God’s people. From an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and was raised on a solid foundation of holiness teachings.
As a lifetime member of Cathedral of Prayer, Pastor Rodgers has served in several roles including Sunday school teacher, worship leader, minister of music, usher, workshop coordinator and conference chair. In the South Central Georgia Jurisdiction, he serves as a member of the Music Board and coordinator for ‘Youth Quake’ revivals for the jurisdictional youth department. In September of 2025, he was elevated to the office of elder and in June of 2026 he was appointed Pastor of Cathedral of Prayer by his jurisdictional prelate, Regional Bishop Norman O. Harper.
In addition to his ministry work, Pastor Adam Rodgers earned a Bachelor in Music Education Degree from Oral Roberts University, a Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance from Temple University and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Columbia Theological Seminary.
A native of Nogales, Arizona, Ruthy Rodgers was raised in a family where faith, worship, and ministry were a way of life. While an active member of the Apostlic Assembly, Ruthy began serving in worship ministry at age 12 and started leading worship on piano at age 16. In addition, her father has led worship for as long as she can remember, and some of her earliest memories are of worshiping at home with her family.
In 2016, Ruthy moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she joined a regional music collective with whom she traveled and led in various houses of worship. In that same year, she accepted a worship leadership position alongside her brother for 10 years in a predominantly Hispanic church.
Outside of ministry, Ruthy works as a Regional Manager in the dental industry, where she enjoys working with people, solving problems, and finding ways to serve others. Whether through worship, leadership, or everyday interactions, her heart is to help people experience the love, peace, and comfort of God. Ruthy hopes to be remembered as someone who carried peace and comfort wherever she went. Her faith is at the center of who she is, and Romans 8:38 is a scripture that holds special meaning for her, reminding her that nothing can separate us from the love of God. When she’s not working or serving, Ruthy enjoys spending time with friends, walking, taking naps, and—most importantly—eating and laughing with the people she loves. She describes herself as bold, nurturing, and spontaneous, and she’s always looking for opportunities to grow, serve, and experience new adventures.
